Jason began his career in finishing in 1997 after deciding to "paint for the summer" with a high school friend. After learning the basics of preperation, proper product use and application methods, he quickly became proficiant in the trade. Joining with Aaron Brogan of Brogan Painting and Remodeling in 1998, he continued to gain knowledge and skill in all aspects of the finishing industry. After admiring the decorative wood grains, glazes, plasters and specialty cabinet finishes in a few high end homes, he knew he had found an aspect of finishing that truly spoke to him. The decorative side of painting became a true passion. Having such a solid foundation in regular painting, along with exhaustive product knowledge and years of experience, he definitely had a distinct advantage over many juming straight into the "Faux Finishing" field. Artistic by nature, and a knack for design and color theory helped Jason refine his craft as well. After thousands of dollars invested in classes and training, he bacame certified in the Faux Effects Gold line of finishing products. Since 2007 Jason has focused mainly on specialty cabinet finishes, cabinet refinishing, painted wood grained looks on interior and exterior surfaces, as well as many styles of decorative wall finishes. He continues to stay updated on new products and trends, and takes great pride in offering the highest quality in materials and workmanship.
